How do I play?

Throw: swipe from the dock out across the water. A faster swipe throws further, and a low, flat throw skips best.
Skip: tap just as the stone touches the water for a perfect skip, and keep it up for a streak. It's one tap per skip, so tapping away doesn't work.
Across the water: the stone tumbles on over the land. When it stops, tap while the marker is in the green to kick it further (once you have land kicks from the shop).
Helpers: once you've bought them in the shop, the wind button gives the stone a push, and the gull button calls a gull to carry it.

How do I get to the other places?

Skip all the way across a spot to open the next one, then travel there on the map (the pin at the top right). Meadow Creek's four spots are free; the Full Game opens Willow River, Pinewood Lake and Saltwind Coast.

I bought the Full Game on another device

Open Settings (the gear, top right), find Full Game and tap Restore. Use the same Apple Account or Google account you bought it with.

There's no sound

On an iPhone or iPad, the game follows the silent switch, so turn the ringer on. On Android, turn up the media volume. Also check the SFX and Music sliders in Settings.

How do I change the language?

Settings → Language. The game speaks English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and Russian, and starts in your device's language when it can.

The words are too small (or too big)

Settings → Text size makes the words and buttons bigger or smaller.

Can I choose the time of day?

Yes: tap the clock button at the top right. The game follows your clock, or you can pick dawn, day, dusk or night.

Can it play by itself?

Yes, with the Full Game: turn on Idle mode in Settings, and it throws for you at an easy pace, earning a bit less. Tap anywhere to take over again.

My ripples stopped going up

Without the Full Game, your purse holds up to 15,000 ripples. Spend some in the shop, or get the Full Game for no limit.

How do I get back to the main menu?

Tap the exit button at the top right (on Android, the back button works too).

How do I start over?

Settings → Start over → Reset. This wipes your ripples, gear, spots, journal and challenges, and can't be undone. Your settings (and the Full Game, if you bought it) stay.
